I’ve worked with a bunch of loaders, hopped in a 535-95 lately after all the touch-ups the owner bragged about. They really went through everything - swapped out all the window glass, replaced steering parts, checked the diffs and changed seals. No leaks anywhere, which is rare for these old units.

Controls aren’t as fun as a joystick setup but you get used to the levers. Brakes and acceleration react quick so moving loads isn’t stressful, though the cab isn’t the roomiest. The condition of the extendable boom surprised me - hardly any wiggle, decent welds. Radio actually works!

Only thing bugging me, the fuel system was fully redone, but you never really know how that'll wear over a few thousand more hours. For now though it’s all good. Didn’t find any real cracks in the paint after some rough site work, so guess the facelift stuck. Wouldn’t mind a plusher seat, but whatever, you don’t buy these for luxury.

Operated the JCB 535-95 for several loads, and its auxiliary function controls impressed me with their simplicity and efficiency. Changing implements was straightforward thanks to the integrated locking mechanisms, though it did involve a couple extra steps. Steering modes like all-wheel steering prove valuable when maneuvering in tighter areas. However, the stability under full boom extension requires attention, but overall, it’s a reliable machine for demanding tasks.

I work daily on construction sites, and the JCB 535-95 is part of our gear. It’s solidly built, and the full assembly in England makes a difference. The boom range is impressive, though navigating tighter spaces requires some practice. After 2000+ hours of usage, it’s still reliable with no major issues encountered. Gets the job done effectively.

Used the JCB 531-70 mainly on my farm. Makes moving pallets and loading way less of a chore. Really like how you can swap out the bucket and forks without help, saves time when you're by yourself like I usually am. The max lift is enough for my jobs, haven't really needed more. The boom setup is smart, and I noticed less flex than some other brands I've run, probably cause they didn't seem to cheap out on materials. The engine’s not the quietest, but it just works. Controls are solid, took me a day to get used to the three steering modes but now I actually prefer having the options. One weird thing is the turning radius is tight, but the crab steer isn’t always smooth if the yard’s muddy. Maintenance is fine, you can get to most parts easy, oil changes and checks aren't a pain. Price could be kinder, but I guess you’re paying for JCB’s stamp.

I had the chance to operate the JCB 531-70. The rear-wheel drive for road use is a solid update, enhancing stability under heavy loads. The Eco and Power mode toggle is practical, accommodating varying workloads. On the downside, the cab design remains mostly unchanged, leaving limited space inside. Nonetheless, it gets the job done effectively.

I've been using the JCB 531-70 loader in our agricultural operations. The design of the boom, without welded joints at key stress points, offers durability-I've observed it handles strain effectively. The three-steering modes are extremely versatile when navigating through tight spaces or transitioning over long distances. While the cabin accommodates well for most tasks, longer durations inside could benefit from enhanced climate control. The standard grain bucket included worked efficiently, though adapting to specific needs might require additional investment. The overall operational feel is solid but could fine-tune in certain aspects.

Tried out the ETV 214 recently. The adjustable steering modes were surprisingly functional in tight spaces. It’s easy to maneuver even in narrow aisles. However, the seat adjustment mechanism felt slightly outdated, lacking smoother operation. Maintenance could become costly if the joystick system faces issues. Performance-wise, it's reliable and gets the job done.

I've had mixed experiences with the JCB 531-70. While its handling and maneuverability in confined areas stand out, I found the standard bucket capacity slightly limiting for specific tasks. However, the equipment's durability and straightforward maintenance are commendable. Overall, a solid performer for most applications.

I recently had the chance to test the JCB 535-95 model, 2006 version. Overall, I found it to be relatively well-maintained and functional. The refurbished paintwork looks fresh, providing a new-like appearance. Operationally, the hydraulic controls work efficiently, though the lever system could take some getting used to compared to joystick setups. The reliability of the engine and telescopic boom appears solid, making lifting tasks manageable. However, the tire condition isn't ideal, with only 30% tread remaining, which could affect traction on certain surfaces.

So I’ve been running the 535-95 for a couple months now (2006 build, under 8k hours). First, this thing got a full once-over before I picked it up: fresh paint, all new filters, rubber is solid, no cracked glass or busted electrics. Big plus for the lighting add-on at the top - night shifts are less of a pain.

It's still lever controls, not the joystick, but honestly I kinda like that for keeping things simple and less to go wrong. All new bushings so no sloppy movement on the boom. Cab is okay comfort wise, seat is decent, music works, nothing fancy but nothing broken. All the hydros are tight, no leaks.

Downsides? The tires are only at about 30% tread so corners in the mud can get squirmy, might have to redo them soon. And yeah, it’s not a rocket - engine isn’t turbo, but it feels reliable enough for what it is. Good for jobs where you don’t need crazy speed. If maintenance was done right, it’s reliable, no weird issues yet. Price was…not cheap but not outrageous.
