Ultrasonic auger sensor is the device that measures the amount and distribution of the material on the screw conveyors and commands it to speed up or down.

Ironwell Auger Sensor has two different version for 1900-2 and 1900-3 to connect with all Vögele finishers smoothly and easily and eliminates any irregularities and ondulations caused by unbalanced conveyor distribution.

Ironwell Auger Sensor works at much higher measuring cycle speeds to achieve 400.000 measurements every second and also monitors operator’s paving speed choice while driving screw conveyors at according speeds and continuously. This way, prevents motors start - stops and improves their life-span while eliminating ondulations caused by those sudden conveyor movement changes.
